We recently welcomed our incoming 9th-grade students, the Class of 2026, to Camdenton High School. This event provides students with the opportunity to meet their teachers, attend their classes on a shortened schedule, and become acclimated to high school before the school year officially begins. During this event, we begin with the end in mind by conducting a “graduation walk” to the football stadium, which is the same walk students will take as seniors when they graduate in 2026. We also asked students to form a “26” on the field to symbolize their graduation year. It was a great way to welcome and celebrate our incoming freshmen.
